A contemporary take on the space that is par excellence the ‘nerve centre’ of any true Riad in Marrakesh, Riad Akka’s central patio is a refined vision of the main architectural elements of this essential feature of traditional family dwellings in Marrakesh: the swimming pool with it wall-mounted fountain to add the sound of running water, cactus to cast a green shade and a sprinkling of little b’hous or outdoor sitting alcoves, for relaxation. This reinterpretation of the patio is steeped in all the stylish peacefulness that is the very essence of a luxury riad in Marrakesh.

Opening onto the patio there are the sitting room and the dining room to add to the air of spaciousness in a well-designed setting.
